Each silver component of the necklace has been hand worked. A beautiful piece hand crafted by the talented silver smiths of the Karen tribe of Northern Thailand. The Karen tribe are famous for the colar jewellery the women wear around their necks which gives them the appearance of unaturaly elongated necks. Many members of the Karen tribe are involved in the making items of jewellery which they sell in the markets of Chiang Mai.
